Terms of Use

Updated 4/05/2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Airi! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Airi mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using Airi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Airi application on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

3. Subscription Services

Airi offers auto-renewable subscription plans (weekly, monthly, and yearly) that provide access to premium features, including unlimited journaling, AI reflections, quizzes, and more. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

  • Billing & Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
  • Managing & Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of the trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds: Apple handles all refund requests in accordance with its App Store refund policy.

4. Account & User Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Airi.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the property of Airi and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create within the app (e.g., journal entries), but you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Airi is a journaling and self-reflection tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Airi and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any active subscription will continue through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of Airi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other means. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
